To join our Corporate Controlling & Analytics team we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Business Analyst who will work as a financial business partner towards our business units in the company.

Your ability to provide advise and insight based on data and financial analysis will help you support key decision makers in creating value and delivering performance. You will work closely with members of the Executive Management Team where you will be an important strategic advisor and thought partner to drive value creation.

Your commercial and operative mindset will enable you to create tangible results together with the organization, and you are able to bridge financial, operational and strategic themes and translate these into concrete actions and initiatives.

Alongside being curious and proactive, your high interpersonal and relationship-building skills will allow you to build trust with stakeholders in the company. This will enable to you drive business unit performance by challenging the status quo and pushing for stretch targets.

The role is a part of the finance function and reports to the VP Corporate Controlling & Analytics.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Oversee and drive financial performance for business units
• Facilitate the financial planning processes together with the business units, by designing and overseeing the execution of the budgets and forecasts.
• Perform financial and operational ad hoc analysis
• Initiate and execute cost and performance improvement initiatives
• Increase overall financial understanding and accountability
• Identify and develop KPI’s to drive business unit performance
• Develop and present business cases for investment opportunities
• Contribute in creating an environment for data-driven decision-making by delivering the right information, to right people, at the right time

Desired qualifications:

• Business education at master's level with solid results
• A minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience from a similar role, management consulting or investment banking
• Highly skilled user of Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience or interest in business intelligence tool PowerBI is an advantage
• Experience or interest in agile development methodology is an advantage
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, orally and in writing
