Freyr AS is hiring a Quality and Certification Advisor
We will build at least 4 battery cell factories of increasing size in Mo i Rana as a significant contribution to the transition to a green economy. Without batteries there can be no real change in the global energy system, the key to limiting global warming. These factories are a significant contribution to a more sustainable future.

We are looking for highly qualified engineers to ensure that Freyr becomes a world leading battery producer through establishing and following up certification activities and quality processes within the organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Continue development of quality processes and ensure best practice quality standards and work processes are used as FREYR grows. The position will also involve upholding compliance to international and market specific standards and working closely with the company - wide quality team also on documentation / information management and other related topics.

It will also be expected that the candidate takes the responsibility of governing certification activities, including mapping of standards.

The ideal candidates have an understanding of international standardization, excellent insight in quality systems and best practice from relevant industry. In this role you will manage development of quality systems and support the product management team in quality related product development challenges.

Main tasks:

• Development of quality processes
• Supporting product engineers and managers in certification activities
• Alignment with company wide quality team
• Documentation / information management

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED

• Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant industry
• Good understanding of the international standardization environment and industry best practices
• Relevant experience with developing and enforcing quality systems
• Relevant technical Masters degree
• Fluent in English
