Global IT Manager

Are you a driven and motivated IT Manager?

We are looking for a Global IT Manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth operation of our computer systems. This role will define, plan, and execute tactical and strategic initiatives, and provide administrative direction and support for daily operations of our IT systems.

This role reports directly to the COO.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the global IT infrastructure and computer systems
• Provide internal IT support, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
• Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems
• Identify problematic areas and recommend implementation of tactical and strategic solutions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain an IT roadmap
• Develop requirements, outlines, budgets, and schedules for information technology projects
• Design, develop, and implement Global IT policies and procedures
• Maintain assets, information security, and control structures
• Together with other stakeholders in the operations organization ensure that data privacy and protection of confidential information are handled in line with company's contractual obligations and policies
• Manage and develop the company's telephone and Internet lines
• Assist with updates, maintenance, and further development of company's webpage/portal
• Set up PC equipment and system access for new hires
• Ensure compliance with GDPR from an IT perspective
• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• Relevant IT technical background is required
• Formal IT education is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience

Travel requirements: 

Some travel activity will be required.

Other:

Occasional overtime work will be required.
