Maanesten creates jewellery that compliments the individual woman and gives her a sophisticated expression that follows the latest trends. Maanesten’s jewellery has a unique look, taking advantage of our sense of detail on the individual jewellery, fine workmanship, and our ability to balance today’s trends in a graceful way.


Currently Maanesten has approximately 50 employees. All our jewellery is designed in Denmark and handmade in the Indian city of Jaipur, where we have our own silver and goldsmiths. It is the combination of design and craftsmanship that makes it possible to offer high quality at a reasonable price.


Head of Sales Norway

On behalf of our client, Maanesten, Nigel Wright is looking for a self-driven and motivated Head of Sales who will be responsible for all sales in Norway. This includes nurturing the relationships to existing retailers, as well as building new relationships with potential customers. The Head of Sales reports to the Country Manager and will work together with her to set goals for all sales in Norway. 


The position is based in Oslo at Prinsens Gate, where clients are invited to the showroom. The job also entails traveling to other locations in Norway, where retailers are met at their stores or are invited to temporary showrooms set up by the Head of Sales. 


Main job responsibilities 

  • Set goals for all sales in Norway and be able to reach them. This is done in cooperation with our Norwegian country manager.
  • Travelling to retailers and making sure Maanesten are properly presented at all retailers and educate retailers in new collections of jewellery and accessories. 
  • Attending monthly meetings with our sales team. These meetings can be digital but are preferably physical and will therefore require travel to Denmark, Norway, and Germany.
  • Inviting retailers to the showroom or taking them out for dinner to provide the best service and sale. 
  • Making economic strategies incorporation with the retailers.


Desired characteristics and qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who is a salesperson at heart with experience working in fashion, jewellery, accessories, or similar industries. The Head of Sales is an ambassador for Maanesten, and therefore needs to represent the brand in the best way possible and has a genuine interest for fashion. 


The Head of Sales needs to be goal-oriented, motivated and independent. We are looking for someone who is both clever and hardworking, with a big smile and a lot of energy. Support and backup will be given by the Head Office in Denmark, and as the candidate is free to coordinate the work great organisational skills are key. The candidate may have an education within sales, but relevant experience is equally valued. 


A valid driver's license is required.
