Our Department, Fabrication Engineering in Stord consists of approximately 60 engineers and are responsible for serving all newbuild projects offshore, landbased and renewables for Aker Solutions. We now looking for a talented High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join our team and help us to #powerthechange.

What will you be doing?

• Design verification of power from shore and electrification offshore
• Transmission system, HVDC and HVAC
• HV converter technology (Static & VSD)
• HV power cable transfer system/protection
• HV power cables termination systems & methods
• HV modifications onshore grid
• Power module designverification and integration offshore and onshore
• Wind power technology & offshore hook-up
• Power management systems (PMS)
• Follow up installation in field

We think you should have:

• Masters or Bachelors degree within electrical engineering
• Skilled worker with high voltage competency can compensate for lack of degree
• Minimum 5 years experience within high voltage systems
• Knowledge of Norwegian electrical laws and NORSOK
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, oral and written
• Good collaborative skills, outgoing and team player, with ability to motivate and encourage good attitude
