Our client is comitted to enable the decarbonisation of industrial emissions and to facilitate the romval of CO2 from the air. To help them achieve this, they are now in need of a junior economist. The junior economist will be in charge of establishing, updating and running the Company's economic model(s) while ensuring level playing field methodology in the analysis of commercial opportunities

The role will initially be entered into as a consultancy role with a 12 months contractural duration. 

Work tasks:

• Supports the BD team by recommending a frame for tariff structure including tariff levels 
• Contributes to a policy for prioritization of 3rd party customers by establishing risk/opportunity profiles by industrial sectors and by countries, including a competitive tariff benchmark
• Supports the preparation of the Company's long-term business plan

Requirements:

• Junior professional with a first experience (1-3 years) in energy/low carbon economics
• Track record of delivery and excellence
• English language fluency (written, spoken)
• University degree in business administration and/or engineering
• It is beneficial if you have knowledge of business models and commercial structures in a low carbon/low margin context and perhaps some subsurface understanding

• Demonstrated resilience and ability to work with significant uncertainty
• Strong analytical skills
