Advantek is looking for Instrument and Automation Engineers in the Oslo area

We are looking for skilled engineers for work in projects towards equipment suppliers and engineering contractors within the energy sector.

We need to hire more employees to fulfill our projects demands.

As an instrument and/or automation engineer for Advantek you will be working in a multitude of settings and projects.

Work Tasks / Responsibilities:

Opportunities to work with Automation, Process and Utility control systems and in a large international project-working environment.
Participate in the design and development of new products and test equipment.
PLC Programming.
Project Engineering and SAS system design activities.
Participate in automation system FAT’s.
Update and follow-up shutdown system, Automation, Process and Utility control for process platform and for field engineering responsibility.
Follow up and requirement and solutions for Process, Utility and shutdown, SCD design (System Control Diagram) and FS (Function Specification).

In your role as an engineer for Advantek, you are a part of shaping our clients current and future products and processes.

Qualifications:

A university level technical education.
Minimum 6 years’ experience from automation engineering.
Minimum 4 years’ Experience from SAS system design activities, including System Control Diagram development and responsibilities from green field projects.
Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as
NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC.
Minimum 6 years relevant experience within electro and automation.
Experience from the energy sector.
A strong interest in working as a consultant.
