We are looking for a Package Responsible Engineer Instrument !

We are now looking for a Instrument Package Responsible Engineer for a temporary position in Trondheim.

Due to the current pandemic restrictions, only candidates that are already located in Norway can be considered for this assignment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Participate in design engineering and actively provide input to the project
• Create technical inquiry documents for instrument procurement packages according to AKSO and OKEA requirements.
• Lead package team
• Vendor follow-up including documentation and factory visits
• Possibly attend offshore survey

Skills and Levels Description:

• Bsc degree
• Ability to specify, dimension and apply correct field instrument to process and non-process applications
• Ability to provide necessary support during installation and MC
• Ability to calculate and control the bulk material needs (Non tagged items). 
• Ability in taking responsibility and ownership for the procurement process of a discipline or multidiscipline procurement package
• Competence to incorporate other discipline (process, piping, safety) requirement to the supplier technical specification (datasheet, etc.)
• Follow up of supplier documentation and incorporate information to the instrument documents
• Software Skills: TIME, MIPS,Word, Excel
• Offshore Certificate is required
• Language Skills: Good knowledge of Norwegian and English both verbally and written language
