Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Line Manager (Lead Information Architect) in setting up and managing the “Data as a Service” unit
• Drive project management activities, documentation, material for decision gates (This project will be delivered as an Agile project and be a pilot for a new Agile project funding process – the Agile Project Facilitator will be required to give feedback on the process in order to evolve it as part of the pilot)
• Responsible for keeping the project on track with its objectives
• Prepare and conduct workshops to identify commercial products needs
• Understand business objectives of internal stakeholders and reflect them in the project scope
• Responsible for stakeholder management, coordination, communication activities
• Define how Agile framework will apply to the context of the project ( select and use fit for purpose framework(s))
• Manage priorities in the project, facilitate backlog management and refinement
• Encourage and strengthen Agile mindset, behaviors and practices in the project team and environment
• Build a safe space for the team and foster collaborative, constructive relationships
• Facilitate Agile ways of working, ceremonies and workshops
• Guide the team in visualizing and organizing work effectively
• Guide/enable the team to ensure that the project iteration goals are met
• Protect the team when needed (manage work in progress limits)
• Help the team to remove impediments, obstacles
• Focuses the team on continuous learning and improvement
• Guide the team in how to communicate and collaborate effectively and on how to resolve conflicts
• Support individual and team development
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Team facilitators to increase the effectiveness of the lean/agile ways of working in Yara (community membership & contributions)
• Collaborate with the Agile Transformation team to contribute to meaningful introduction of Agile mindset and practices in Yara
Profile
- BA or MA
- 7-10 years overall of which min 5 of relevant experience for the position and at least min 2 in Agile context
- Values and results driven team player, people developer, demonstrate Servant Leader behaviors
- Ability to observe, understand the context and recommend/adopt/adjust a course of action accordingly
- Ability to adopt different stances depending on context: facilitator, coach, advisor, trainer, coordinator, manager, change lead
- Excellent communication skills including acute active listening ability
- Excellent facilitations skills, also in a remote context
- Demonstrate courage, assertivity, address what needs to be addressed
- Deliver feedback in a constructive manner, develop a team culture where feedback is part of DNA
- Practice openness and empathy
- Good to excellent knowledge of one or more agile frameworks
- Project Management skills
- Can leverage technology to create an effective online experience
- Experience in working in international teams, culturally diverse environments and with geographically spread teams
- Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form
