Regional Sales Manager
As Sekal AS continues to gain more business in Norway and internationally, we are growing the organization and looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager to strengthen our highly skilled Sales team in Stavanger, Norway.
Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for building business with clients operating in Europe.
The perfect candidate is driven by results and have excellent track record, have relevant experience in sales and marketing with insight and networks within the oil and gas drilling industry.
Main responsibilities:- Active promotion and sales of Sekal products and services to selected clients in region Europe.
- Sales budget and results
- Develop and keep updated sales and marketing strategy for selected clients.
- Be updated on latest technology and competitors within the Sekal business segment.
- Closely follow-up on clients challenges, needs and strategies within Sekal business segment.
- Prepare and follow-up all tenders, bids and commercial offers to clients, subjects to CCO final approval within client deadlines.
- Prepare and propose the alternative commercial models required to successfully sell Sekal market offering, increase company revenue and margins.
- Communicate and involve peers and teams in tender processes when required.
- Represent Sekal at conferences and user meetings.
- Communicate client feedback and requests to assist R&D and operations in product development.
- Duties and Tasks will require a reasonable amount of travel.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by the CCO.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (Engineering and / or Business Administration). Master's degree preferred. Proven Sales track record and relevant experience can justify lack of education.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience in in sales and marketing with insight and networks within the oil and gas drilling industry.
- Drilling experience: minimum 2 years within drilling/well operations, to understand and discuss drilling related issues with clients.
- Software knowledge: good knowledge and understanding of Sekal's software and competitor's software components and value proposition.
- Client interface: Documented track record in active promotion and sales of relevant products within the oil and gas industry.
