Mission

Initially this role will also support the transition from 3 separate procurement functions at The Adecco Group in Norway, Sweden and Finland into one unified Nordics support function, which in turn forms a key part of the Northern Europe Procurement organisation.

The Nordics Procurement Team’s primary objective is to ensure that the entire procurement process, from ordering to invoicing is clear, efficient, data-driven, compliant and well communicated internally. A key part of the process is first to understand the business requirements and then to find the best value solutions, this will include consolidation and ”right sizing” of the existing supplier base, using economies of scale, data driven rationale and in depth knowledge of requirements to drive increased value for the region and the business.

The role reports to the Head of Procurement for the Nordics and will work closely with the different Adecco Group business units and departments across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Helping to devise and execute procurement and sourcing strategies for strategic and tactical project requirements
  • Supporting the effective deployment of procurement process and helping to align functional objectives with overarching business strategies
  • Working with procurement tools and processes to make sure that relevant documentation is updated and stored
  • Supporting end to end procurement exercises, including supporting stakeholders on the development of business cases and associated risk plans, and the implementation of new contracts & processes
  • Reviewing existing and new suppliers, to identify further efficiencies and business benefits and helping to develop and execute strategies to maximize these benefits
  • Supporting the Procurement team in achieving and retaining compliance to agreed business policies and processes

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Native speaker of one of the Nordic languages (Norwegian/Swedish/Finnis), as well as excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written
  • Experienced with the complete procurement process from prequalification, RfX processes and through to contract negotiation and sign off
  • MS Office skills – particularly Excel. MSD365 experience ideal but not essential
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and processes.  MSD365 P2P experience ideal but not essential
  • Previous experience in developing and managing contracts
  • Experience in collecting, analysing and presenting data
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Passionate about creating an environment that is oriented towards the highest ethical standards, trust, open communication and creative thinking
