In-line with our company growth, KONGSBERG IT needs to grow also and expand the team with an assortment of positions in the department.

Management of IT service architectures is of strategic importance to KONGSBERG and we need to extend our current team. We are looking for several new colleagues with both formal skills and experience within the area of IT and Business architecture in a large and diverse business and IT landscape. The role is part of the IT Architecture department in KONGSBERG IT.

Main tasks:

• Drive the development of the future IT landscape for KONGSBERG
• Proactively identify and suggest improvements with a potential significant business benefit
• Work actively with IT, business, and management to ensure our IT service portfolio and architecture matches strategic business needs and goals
• Define and manage architecture target states, roadmaps and programs
• Identify and suggest cost/value-based improvements
• Manage internal and external resource and competence networks
• Document and manage IT architecture, architecture principles and models
• Make IT architecture a tangible business value
• Advocate correct use of architecture principles and models in mission critical IT projects

We search for people with:

• Bachelor or masters degree in IT Management or similar/related field.
• Experience with IT architecture,
• Experience from global and complex IT environments preferably with a strong focus on digital information security (incl. management of classified information)
• Experience with hybrid cloud services from an architecture perspective
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills
• Self-driven and confident of own technical expertise
• Fluent Norwegian and English speaking and writing skills

Office location:

• Kongsberg, Horten or Ålesund. The role must be prepared to travel between the sites.
