As Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be part of the People team, also working closely attached to our visionary Product & Tech team of 150+ people, with ambitious plans to grow. You will work in a talent team where we aim to build a world-class talent acquisition organisation raising the bar for attracting, recruiting and keeping the best talent there is, both locally and globally. Our people team is rapidly growing, and in addition to the team of 11 TA partners you’ll work alongside colleagues specialized in learning and development, diversity and inclusion and leadership development who will help us raise the bar for the employee experience at Oda. Both the people and talent acquisition teams are friendly, supportive and knowledgable, and highly valued by the rest of Oda.
What does a Talent Acquisition Partner do?
A Talent Acquisition Partner understands which talent is instrumental to reaching our ambitious company goals. You advice management on how to identify, attract, assess, hire and keep the best talent out there. You follow up, develop and improve related processes and support management in talent acquisition matters.
- You will screen applications, complete initial screening interviews, follow the candidate safely throughout the process and be a part of the feedback, decline or offer-process.
- You’ll be encouraged to proactively network with talent who may be relevant for us in the future
- You’ll be involved in employer branding and talent attraction strategies
- You’ll be involved in discussions on talent acquisition planning
- You’ll work closely with hiring managers within a specific discipline and be their trusted advisors in talent acquisition (Examples of disciplines: Software engineering, UX-design, Data & Insights, Growth, Product management, People, New markets, Business development, Logistics or other).
- You’ll build and conduct first class, best practice recruitment processes based on our existing frameworks.
Over time, when you’ve mastered the attraction and recruiting part of the role, you’ll be involved in projects such as:
- Onboarding and retention projects
- Employee experience projects
- Collaborating with colleagues specialist fields such as learning & development, diversity & inclusion, branding and new markets on projects to innovate our ways of working with talent acquisition
- Being a certified personality and ability test user and conducting readback interviews with candidates
In this role, you will be trusted with tasks you might feel is more than you know today. We know you will use the team and surrounding colleagues to solve any problem that comes your way. We are a ‘learning by doing (and failing)’ culture. You will of course receive training, but you will find yourself quickly up and running with operative tasks. The following will probably be helpful
- A university degree in human resources, marketing, tech, design or product fields.
- An understanding of best practice talent acquisition and an understanding of the science behind assessments.
- Some years experience in attracting and recruiting talent within fields where top talent is hard to catch
- Experience working in an ATS system (we use Lever) and knowledge about Linkedin as a recruiting tool.
- Experience in recruiting through search, networks and/or referrals
- Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
