HEAD OF ACCOUNTING - for a company with an ambitious growth strategy

This is a key position for reaching our ambition to become a leading large-scale hydrogen production systems player. 

The new Head of Accounting will be an important sparring partner for the CFO on a wide range of accounting and finance topics, reporting processes and accounting policies.
You will play a key role in developing the over-all  finance processes and implementing a new ERP system that will position us to scale the company rapidly and ensure timely reporting with high quality. 

Our head office is located in in the city of Porsgrunn in the county of Vestfold and Telemark and our new Head of Accounting will be based here.

Area of responsibility 

• Develop a state-of-the-art accounting function in close cooperation with the CFO 
• Overall responsibility for group accounting policies and processes
• Take a vital role in the implementation of a new ERP system suited for driving better decisions and execute our strategic agenda
• Hands-on responsibility for group quarterly and annual statutory financial reporting 
• Ensure group compliance on relevant accounting standards. The company reports according to Norwegian Accounting Act today, IRFS may be implemented at a later stage
• Responsibility for tax and VAT reporting
• Management of group transfer pricing policies
• Responsibility for international cash management 
• Be a key point of contact towards the company’s external auditor and further develop internal audit processes

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting or finance
• Experienced user of leading ERP system(s), preferably with implementation or improvement 
• More than 5 years of relevant experience from audit or accounting or experience from a similar role in a publicly listed company
• Being a state authorized public accountant is an advantage
• Excellent analytical skills and accounting knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communicator in English. Fluency in a Scandinavian language is considered an advantage
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

HydrogenPro was founded in 2013 and the Company’s principal business is to provide customised turn-key plants for large-scale production of green hydrogen to global industrial clients. The Company’s activities include design, engineering and optimization of such plants, purchasing of parts, components and sub-systems for integration into complete plants and systems for hydrogen production. The activities also include commissioning and testing of such plants before they are accepted by clients of the Company. As part of its business model, the Company will also seek to secure service and maintenance agreements related to such hydrogen production plants.
The Company aims to be a world leading designer and supplier of alkaline electrolyser technology plants and solutions that meet the highest requirements for safety, reliability and long lifetime at competitive cost.
