Embedded software development engineer for Ethernet communication

Relevant working tasks include:

• Ethernet switch and router protocol development
• Time synchronization according to TSN, IEEE1588 and NTP
• Project management
• Specification and documentation work
• Technical support

We are looking for candidates that hold a master’s degree in Electronic Systems Design, Communication Networks, or equivalent and preferably 2-10 years of experience. As a person we would like you to be quality conscious, service minded and creative.

Qualifications:

• C-programming of embedded microprocessors with Linux or eCos as operating systems
• Git as version control system
• Routing and security (VPN, firewall, network services, virtualization)
• Ethernet switch protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SNMP, CLI, IGMP, RSTP/MSTP, VLAN)
• Board-bring up
• Network time synchronization
• Schematic review 
• Business fluent in English and Norwegian
