Nordic Marketing Project Manager

Tech Data Corporation is one of the world’s largest wholesale distributors of technology products, as Marketing Project Manager you will be working with promoting these products to our resellers in collaboration with world leading vendors. The Marketing Project Manager has the responsibility for planning, creativity input, executing and following up on marketing projects and activities. The purpose of these activities is to promote the sales of our vendor products and services in alignment with the strategic priorities of Tech Data Nordic.

Location:  Position could be located in any nordic country, Spånga - Sweden, Oslo - Norway, Birkeröd - Denmark or Helsinki - Finland

Position Summary

As Marketing Project Manager you closely cooperates with Product Management in the Nordic countries and in close consultation with Vendors to plan, execute & follow up Vendor Marketing plans and activities. You will also contribute proactively as a team member to the overall Nordic Marketing Team, promote Tech Data as a company and support other team members when necessary.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Plan, execute & follow up marketing project in alignment with vendor Business Development Managers & local marketing teams.
• Close contact with central (European) marketing team to align on plans when needed.
• Coordinate activity content and input.
• Digital production and scheduling of web banners, pictures, invitations, emails etc.
• Manage events on-site.
• Follow-up and secure financial closing of marketing projects together with Nordic marketing administrator
• Execute or conduct any other activities aimed at enhancing the marketing effort of Tech Data as guided by the Nordic Marketing Director.

Role closely cooperates with

Product Management, Sales Managers, Business Intelligence, Production Specialist, Finance, Marketing Operations Specialist and External Vendors.

Position Qualification

We expect you to have a few years of relevant work experience. You have a good knowledge about marketing and project management. Furthermore, you have good communication skills in English & native level in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish both verbally and in writing.
