EHS Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and evolve EHS strategy, policies, processes, and procedures
• Develop, maintain, and monitor goals for EHS in the company and ensure qualifications, certifications, and alignment to relevant standards
• Further develop our systematic EHS and quality work, to ensure efficiency and compliance throughout the value chain
• Report internally and externally in line with functional area
• Take a pro-active role in ensuring that all employees have good understanding of our EHS rules (Safety Commitments) and EHS requirements in the company
• Pursue, develop, communicate and implement Carrier's EHS annual plan
• Carry out quarterly EHS training for all employees as well as ensure other necessary EHS training according to our training program
• Analyze and report incidents and in cooperation management, develop and follow up on action plans
• Plan the annual EHS inspection program, as well as actively participate in the program
• Responsible for the ECO-Lighthouse (Miljøfyrtårn)
• Carrier Excellence

Requirements

• Higher educations, preferably master’s degree
• Interest in occupational safety, occupational health and the environment
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations within EHS
• Excellent verbal and written communications, collaboration, and presentation skills in both Norwegian and English
