What you will do


Trusted in the world?s most prestigious buildings for over 145 years, YORK commercial HVAC systems delivers performance and that comes standard with world-class service and support. At Johnson Controls we are looking for a new HVAC Sales Manager to join our global YORK team from Norway. You will be responsible for the sales of Johnson Controls HVAC YORK portfolio to new potential partners/distributors in Norway, Denmark, and Iceland. You will be responsible for creating and establishing new sales channels as well as making target sale to potential customers. You will be working from a homebased office, but with the option to join our Johnson controls team in Oslo.
Our product portfolio is filled with a wide range of great and innovative YORK products, such as best-in class HFO and Low GWP Chillers and Heat Pumps, Fan Coils to Air Handling units and controls among many other equipment. We are therefore looking for a Sales Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the commercial / industrial engineering industry who can establish new relationships and understand customer?s needs ? both now and in the future.

How you will do it

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Seek out, qualify, and close simple, large & more complex sales opportunities with a specific focus on new business growth
  • Create competitive, high quality and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analyses.
  • Utilize applicable sales tools effectively to plan and document progress on your accounts.
  • Developing and implementing the indirect sales strategy in the region and aligned with European/Global strategy.
  • Develop the product portfolio based on customer feedback, to help power the missions of our customers
  • Driving sales excellence. Delivering sales performance across channels
  • Build and maintain a network of stakeholders ? incl. Project managers, Technicians and Leadership

What we look for

  • Proactive Sales professional with Technical HVAC background, that drives for business growth 
  • Work systematic using sales tools (specific and proprietary HVAC selection tools)
  • Proven track record of selling solutions/design HVAC products and delivering results
  • Innovative and future-focused mindset with a positive and collaborative attitude
  • Fluency in English and Norwegian ? written and verbal.

Preferred

  • Knowledge and/or experience within the HVAC commercial field and in the distribution sales
  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC product & service experience,
  • A technical education such as HVAC Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or experience in a technical sales role
