FINN.no is looking for a backend/fullstack developer for our Payment team

The Payment team builds FINN.no’s payment solutions (invoicing, credit card, Vipps, accounting etc). We make payment easy for our users, and we also deliver APIs for other teams in FINNno. We have a lot of freedom when it comes to choosing Technology that fits our needs, and some important ones for the Payment team are Kotlin, Kafka, Hibernate, and Elasticsearch. We also have some Frontend tasks, mainly done in React.

What does a typical week at work look like?

• Develop digital products in a team with product managers, designers, tech lead and other developers

• Contribute to architecture and technology choices that support the business needs in FINN.no, and promote security and scalability in a good way

• Take part in code reviews, merge/pull requests, and be part of technical workshops and whiteboard sessions where we discuss, learn and explore new technologies and solutions together

• Be part of planning, design and implementation of FINNs payment and invoice-solutions in an agile, lean and iterative manner

• Contribute to a great tech culture that is inclusive, professional and nurturing

Who are you?
We are looking for an engaged, self-driven developer with a few years of experience under their belt, and who strives for good architecture, robust and structured code. We work together towards common goals, and help each other succeed. We learn from each other, and you should find it motivating to share your knowledge with other people and be an active contributor in discussions about technology.
