The Enterprise Architect is responsible for making sure that the company’s business strategy uses proper technology systems architecture to support achieving its goals.

Due to the complexity of the Statkraft business, Enterprise architects are organised in an Enterprise Architecture team responsible for business strategy alignment using the Enterprise Architecture framework. This framework includes the architecture process for efficient business support, architecture domain model to bring in the right competency, principles to ensure efficient decision making and a toolbox for harmonising AS and TO BE architectures with the business.

The Enterprise Architect is a proactive partner across BA/SA’s in Statkraft, creating value to the business by being:

• Responsible for validating Business IT developer requirements across processes
  • Active participation in relevant Customer dialogues
  • Assist and guide strategic road mapping
  • Architecture approval in early phases DG0-DG1 using architecture checklist
• Responsible for the current IT system portfolio and how data and applications are interconnected across Statkraft
  • Proficient in process mapping across Statkraft
  • Have an excellent system & portfolio overview across BA/SA’s
  • Responsible for aligning domain level reference architectures
• Responsible for aligning future architecture with strategy
  • Responsible for aligning roadmaps
  • Responsible for roadmap maintenance
  • Proficient in architecture framework communication and marketing
• Responsible for architecture framework
  • Using the established architecture framework and process to help the business reduce cost and technical debt in business process support
  • Using the established architecture framework and process to assist the business in new revenue generating activities
  • Support the business in identifying risks and mitigation
