Radio Optimization Engineer - Huawei.

Do you want to help shape the mobile technology of the future?Huawei Technologies Norway AS was established in 2007. In 2010 we became the biggest telecom solutions provider for Norway. In Norway, we are around 140 driven employees which are located in the premises of Fornebu, just outside Oslo.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for radio network planning, design, and optimization in 2G/3G/4G/5G network.
• 2G/3G/4G/5G site performance monitoring, verification and troubleshooting. Be capable on performance statistics analysis, KPI report output, radio parameter check and optimization, verification and troubleshooting.
• Data collection and analysis, including drive test logs, performance counters, configuration data etc.
• Coverage/quality/capacity analysis (parameter, interference, hardware etc.) and troubleshooting
• E2E customer complaint troubleshooting and VIP care

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in one of following branches: Telecommunication, Electrical / Electronic or computer Engineering.
• Excellent understanding of KPI/KQI definitions and calculation methods.
• Good knowledge at mobile system architecture, radio interface, protocols, and signalling. System parameters in at least one of the main technologies (NR, LTE, UMTS, GSM, NbIOT etc.);
• Knowledge of radio planning and optimization tools (in example: Genex Probe, Assistant, U2020, OMSTAR, Nastar, Mapinfo, Unet, TEMS, Polystar etc);
• At least 2 years of experience in Radio Access Network planning, optimization and quality assurance.
• Project and stakeholder management experience.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL queries) and Core Network architecture is a plus.
• Driving License.

• Good presentation skills, both oral and written.
• Fluent in English is mandatory, Danish is plus.
• European Union citizenship is mandatory for later Security Clearance application.
