Business Controller

Would you like to work in an international start-up within the e-commerce space? We run voucher code sites in 5 countries and have recently launched a new shopping app in Norway. We are looking for a Business Controller to help us establish new routines and structure in a fast changing company.

This is a new position and you will help shape processes and routines going forward. You will work in the intersection between Tech, Operations and Finance, creating revenue overview and control across all products and sites run by Svosj AS. You would be working closely with Lene, Tom Ketil and Ådne in Svosj, as well as Schibsted central functions. Our business model is based on performance marketing, and you will be interacting with many affiliate networks.

Tasks

• Produce weekly and monthly reports, monitoring KPIs and financial results

• Monitoring and reconciliation of revenue streams

• Establish routines and work closely with Tech in order to automate and improve processes and data quality

• Invoicing and other administrative tasks related to affiliate networks we cooperate with

• Make sure our happy users and business partners get their payments in time

The skills we look for

• You must be analytical and pay attention to detail, and at the same time have business flair and an eye for the company as a whole

• Curious and interested in finding explanations and solutions if unforeseen things happen

• Tech savvy and open to learn some simple coding if needed

• Independent, efficient and proactive

• Time management is key as we are subject to internal and external deadlines

• Team player, taking pleasure in working across different company functions

• Ability to learn quickly and thrive on challenges

• Fluent in Norwegian and English

Your background:

• Bachelor degree or higher within business and management or equivalent

• Preferably 1-3 years experience in a similar position
