Cambi, a well-known disruptor in wastewater treatment and organics recycling, is looking for one or two summer interns to join its Research and Development team. Masters students in chemical, biotechnology, water and wastewater engineering, or other relevant fields are encouraged to apply.

You will be part of an innovative team, contributing to further improvements of the best available thermal hydrolysis process systems in the world. The internship will consist of mainly independent research work with the possibility for your results to be presented at international conferences.

Activities include:

Laboratory-scale sludge treatment (using high temperature and pressure)
Chemical analysis
Rheological analysis
Data analysis and report writing

The primary workplace will be the biogas laboratory in Ås (Vollveien 5), while office work will be done in Cambi’s headquarters in Asker (Skysstasjon 11A).

Preferences

Laboratory work experience
Driving license class B
Good general health
Ability to work with minimal supervision

The 5-week paid internship will be from 14 June to 30 July, with the potential for extension. An earlier start date is also possible.
