Job summary
We are looking for our new Purchaser & Planner for our Manufacturing team located at Lysaker. The team is part of a global technology department that develop advanced node technology used in subsea. The position reports to Manufacturing Manager in Norway.

The team is small and agile and playing a key role in the company's businesses process. All members will have a large degree of freedom to form and execute the work in an optimal way with modern systems and with a long-term perspective.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Purchasing
  • Manufacturing planning by initiate follow up on delivery
  • Forecasting consumes of components
  • Stock/inventory control

You will:

  • Handle purchasing related to Manufacturing, Operations and Technical
  • Interact with contract manufacturers to make supply chain agreements
  • Interact with logistics department to keep track of deliveries to/from Operations
  • Monitor and maintain inventory control of parts in stock
  • Handle invoice processing in close cooperation with accounting department
  • Follow up and ensure timely delivery of parts and confirm goods received
  • Execute quotation process, purchase orders and receipts according to policies and procedures
  • Oversee Supplier Management, Evaluations and KPIs
  • Be assigned ad-hoc duties
  • Sourcing of new suppliers and alternative parts according to company rules, regulations and needs
  • Forecasting and planning of parts production together with Manufacturing Manager
  • Assist with various reports

Qualifications:
We believe the right candidate has a global mindset, is interested in technology and navigate well in complex organisations. Familiarity with the on/off shore context would be an advantage.

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in relevant profession (logistics, finance, technical)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from relevant position
  • Strong knowledge and experience with ERP systems or Procurement systems (Oracle Fusion)
  • Reporting of monthly manufacturing costs to Finance Department
  • Participate in development and continuous improvement of processes within procurement
  • Prepare and follow up of procurement plans and delivery for projects
  • Provide support in inbound and outbound shipments for manufacturing if needed
  • Develop strong relationships with internal customers and key suppliers
  • Advanced excel skills
