EIT Engineer, NO

We are looking for an EIT engineer who is responsible for follow up Maintenance and operational issues of the field instruments, telecom, SAS, F&G and electrical systems (herafter called EIT) for the operated assets, and in general support Lead EIT engineers.

• Follow up maintenance program for EIT equipment and systems, including planning of corrective jobs 
• Support for maintenance and integrity issues on EIT systems and modifications 
• Be onshore support for EIT technicians offshore. 
• Follow up EIT disciplines regarding logistic and plan 
• Be backup for lead Engineer Instrument and lead Engineer Automation
• Be contract responsible (Company or Technical representative) for dedicated contracts 
• Offshore travels must be expected

• Higher university degree (MSC or BSC). In special cases relevant work experience may compensate for limited formal education.
• Typically a minimum of 5 years relevant experience from the Oil & Gas industry, and knowledge of the E&P business.
• Ability to provide guidance to others on how work should be conducted.
• Sound Knowledge and understanding of relevant technologies, standards and requirements (NORSOK) 
• Requires awareness and understanding of contributions by other disciplines, and ability to see own work within a multidisciplinary cooperation   
• Ability to communicate and present technical guidance/advice to others in an understandable way 
• Fluent in English and Norwegian (oral and written) language skills
