We at Clarion Hotel Energy in Stavanger search for a new chef in our Kitchen and Table Restaurant.

The position includes a 100% contract and is set with start date 01.05.2021.

The position involves:

Preparing dishes in accordance with the procedures and profitability goals that have been established.

Review of and preparation for events together with Sous Chef/HC.

Daily mise en place for the a la carte service.

Responsibility for ensuring that the kitchen and surrounding area are left clean and tidy at the end of the shift.

Responsibility for maintaining order and clarity in the store.

Taking care of deliveries of goods.

Preparing dishes in accordance with the procedures and profitability goals that have been established.

Responsibility for having read and understood the work procedures in the kitchen.

Being well acquainted with menus and range of drinks.

Contributing to make sure that all food, prepared, not prepared, left over, etc. is handled correctly in accordance with written instructions.

Offering help and assistance to other colleagues in other positions in the kitchen as required.

Participating actively in departmental and hotel meetings.

Treating our guests and colleagues with respect.

Cooperating with restaurant staff and receptionists to provide the best possible service to guests.

Reporting any faults and deficiencies that arise in the department and hotel to SC/HC.

Maintaining the highest level of service and competence, making sure that guests are always treated correctly.

Keeping up to date and informed about the hotel´s fire and safety procedures.

Observing the company´s policies.

Other duties may be assigned by the line manager.
