Now we are looking for a skilled Manufacturing and Supplier Quality Specialist who will play an important role in assuring the quality outcome of our contracted manufacturing partners and suppliers. About the role

As a Manufacturing and Supplier Quality Specialist, you will be part of reMarkable’s supply chain team in Oslo reporting to VP Supplier Quality and Manufacturing, as well as working closely with our contracted manufacturer (CM) and suppliers mainly in Asia. As reMarkable is growing fast, you will also have a unique opportunity to help build a global value chain that will match the largest players in the industry.

In this role, together with the Senior Manufacturing Quality Manager and our onsite manufacturing team, you will be responsible for follow up and improving the quality outcome of our contracted manufacturing partner and suppliers. Through your quality skill set, you will ensure high-quality production and end products for reMarkable's customers.

Further tasks and responsibilities:

• Operational follow-up and monitoring of CMs’ and suppliers’ quality performance
• Contribute to and coach advanced problem solving of our suppliers’ way of working
• Lead/coach failure analysis and quality issues resolution in cross-functional teams together with CMs/ suppliers if needed
• Assure a stable high volume production through data-driven production quality control/improvement such as statistical process control, Cp/Cpk, etc.
• Take lead on quality assuring production test equipment e.g. test jigs, gauges, etc., both for inline and offline testing
• Contribute to New Product Introduction projects, e.g. with the perspectives of manufacturability
• International travels are required (up to 50% after removed covid-19 travel restrictions)

Who are you?

• 3+ years of experience from high volume manufacturing industry e.g. consumer electronics, automotive or similar
• Experience working with China/Asia is a plus
• Experience with process quality, quality control plans
• Knowledge in Quality management tools/Advanced Problem solving/Continuous Improvement e.g. six sigma and lean, statistical and analytics skills
• Knowledge in quality assuring production of test equipment, e.g. Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility etc.
• Knowledge of ESD Control in production and supply chain
• Communications skills, also in an cross cultural context
• Agile way of working skills is a plus
• Experience with sustainability in supply chain is a plus
• MSc in Engineering: mechanical/electrical/electronics/ industrial/ Quality Management/ or similar
• Languages: English, Norwegian (swedish/danish), chinese is a plus
