On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Engineer Instrument/metering/SAS

Job Description:

• Responsible for Instrument scope in Front End Studies
• Ensure discipline deliverables to the right detail level for the study class, with feasible technical solutions in line with client and authority requirement
• Cooperate with Other disciplines, Client and vendors to ensure all aspects are covered
• Prepare technical philosophy documents, sketches, drawings, indexes as required
• Prepare Material list (MTO) with weight and cost input 
• Prepare input to Risk and opportunity register 
• Prepare Input to Main Equipment List (MEL) with dimensions, weight, cost
• Prepare Input to Report

• Master or Bachelor degree
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Alternatively, Good experience and proven record of previous delivery on studies and projects may substitute the academic qualification, but candidate shall have instrument engineering education background
• Extensive knowledge and experience within the instrument discipline in general
• Special and thorough competence on one or more of the major topics covered by the instrument discipline; Valves, Metering or SAS
• Valves: Extensive knowledge of PSV's, actuated on/off valves (Inclusive ESD and PSD) and control valves 
• Metering: Extensive knowledge of metering in general and fiscal metering systems in specific are required
• Long experience with engineering of such systems are vital
• SAS: Extensive knowledge and experience with all aspect of a SAS system (ESD, PSD, PCS, PDSC, F&G, HMI, IMS, Network etc)
• Must be able to produce IO budget and communicate with SAS vendors to obtain capacity check, required modifications/extensions, technical solutions, and cost budget
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English
