Therefore, we are now looking for a skilled Senior Manufacturing Quality Manager who will play an important role in managing the quality outcome of our contracted manufacturing partners and suppliers. About the role

As a Senior Manufacturing Quality Manager, you will be part of reMarkable’s supply chain team in Oslo reporting to VP Supplier Quality and Manufacturing, as well as working closely with our contracted manufacturer (CM) and suppliers mainly in Asia. As reMarkable is growing fast, you will also have the unique opportunity to help build a global value chain that will match the largest players in the industry.

In this role, together with our onsite manufacturing team, you will be responsible for managing the outcome of our contracted manufacturing partner and suppliers. Through your quality skill set, you will ensure high-quality production and end products for reMarkable's customers.

Further tasks and responsibilities:

• Operational follow-up and monitoring of CMs’ and suppliers’ quality performance
• Ensure advanced problem solving and use of best practice quality metrics and tools is part of our and our suppliers’ way of working
• Lead failure analysis and quality issues resolution together with CMs/ suppliers if needed
• Contribute to New Product Introduction projects, e.g. with the perspectives of design for manufacturing and manufacturability input as well as preventive quality assurance in order to scale large volumes at capable suppliers
• Active part in developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for materials, processes and products
• Contribute to manufacturing and supplier quality management framework
• International travels are required (up to 50% after removed covid-19 travel restrictions)

Who are you?

• 5+ years of experience from high volume manufacturing industry e.g. consumer electronics, automotive or similar
• Experience working with China/Asia is a plus
• Deep knowledge in Quality management tools/Advanced Problem solving/Continuous Improvement e.g. six sigma and lean, statistical and analytics skills
• Quality management systems understanding (e.g. ISO9001 knowledge)
• Clear communications skills, also in a cross-cultural context
• Leadership skills, e.g driving topics with cross-functional teams
• Agile way of working skills is a plus
• Experience with sustainability in supply chain is a plus
• MSc in Engineering: mechanical/electronics/ industrial/ Quality Management/ or similar
• Languages: English, Norwegian (Swedish/Danish), Chinese is a plus
