Subsea Field Development Engineer

Job Description

• Role according to position, management system and as per described core responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with Client's Management System
• Provide technical expertise for subsea field development, concept development and engineering
• Take the role as study lead or contract responsible for subsea field development tasks
• Follow-up engineering and perform technical assurance of work performed by contractors or other 3rd parties
• Ensure multidiscipline interaction between subsuface, D&W and flow assurance in subsea field pursuing business opportunities
• Ensure that engineering is performed in accordance with standards and functional specifications
• Give engineering support in development projects, ensure maturity and deliverables through project gates as per management system
• Provide support to studies and modifications projects
• Provide support to internal and external project review activities
• Contribute and participate in Technical Committees when required Actively contribute to transfer of experience and industry best practices for field development engineering

Qualifications Requirements

• University degree, preferably Master, in a relevant engineering discipline, preferably subsea, mechanical or process
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field development studies, including screening, feasibility, concept selection & FEED studies
• Project Management experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Engineering, Fabrication and Operation of subsea systems
• Multi-disciplinary subsea knowledge and experience, preferably from both operators and contractors.
• Be familiar with typical design codes relevant to engineering, design, construction and installation of subsea systems
• Possess in-depth knowledge of relevant contractors and the latest market developments
• Good knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and requirements relevant for NCS
• Knowledge and experience with topside modifications as well as brownfield engineering
