Product Manager for Greenpact Rigs / Greenpact Ships

Greenpact Rigs is our analytical data and modelling product which tracks emissions from all offshore drilling rigs around the world. Greenpact Rigs has recently been launched to our clients, and it is imperative that it delivers value to our clients by meeting and exceeding their current and future expectations. 

Greenpact Ships is our analytic data and modelling product which tracks emissions from specific shipping segment around the world. The product is currently in development and will be launched mid 2021.

As our Product Manager Rigs / Product Manager Ships you will be responsible for the ecosystem of the product with emission models, workflows, and data content as well as for client relationships and driving continued innovation and development. To succeed in this role you have a technical background and understanding of emission sources and energy saving systems on offshore drilling rigs / on ships in addition to important operational and market mechanisms.

We believe you are meant for this job if you have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in relevant engineering, geology, business, or similar fields and a preferred minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience. You should also have experience with technical equipment and/or from operation of offshore drilling rigs or the ships industry. Excellent oral and written communication skills on technical and business-related topics is a must, and if you have sales and/or business development experience with oil and gas insight and analytics products, it would be even greater. 

Main responsibilities: 

• Drive profitable revenue growth through extensive understanding of market needs and requirements to solve customer problems 
• Keep emission models, data content, and workflows fully up to date 
• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Greenpact Rigs / Greenpact Ships 
• Work closely with Product Owner and Technical Emission Analysts to get the priorities right 
• Support sales team with technical expertise in front of clients or as back office 
• Interface with existing and potential clients and Esgian’s sales, business, and system development teams to deliver innovative and valuable solutions
