Microsoft Application Expert - Developer

Information Technology at Yara has embarked on a transformation journey. We aim to enable Yara’s growth and digital ambitions to develop a faster and nimbler IT. We are now looking for the right candidate to help us make this happen, by hiring a senior Microsoft Power Platform Application Expert. 

Is this you? You will take part in making Power Platform THE low-code platform in Yara. 

You will be the most technical person in our Power Platform team and work close with the Development and Operation teams making business applications.

You will actively drive business productivity by application development, and by providing expertise to team members and the citizen developer community. 

The two main office hubs related to the Business Applications teams are in Oslo and Brussels. This position will be based in Oslo or Brussels and report to Senior Manager of Business Applications.

•   Make business apps solving real business problems.

•   Be the bridge between the low-code and development teams

•   Provide senior subject matter expertise to teams, projects, and citizen developers

•   Stay current on relevant new technology within the Microsoft and share with team

•   Be an agile team member (Demo Sessions & Sharing success stories, grooming and planning of backlog & contribute to agile ceremonies)

•   M.Sc. or bachelor’s degree within computer science or similar

•   Minimum 3 years’ experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Microsoft Power Platform.

•   Minimum 10 years of experience from IT 

•   Experience with Azure DevOps, SharePoint Online and Dynamics are big pluses

•   Flexible to travel- approx. 10 days a year

•   Fluency in English- written & verbal
