Gard is looking for a Data Analyst to join our datawarehouse team in Arendal.
If you are passionate about analyzing data and loves to present business intelligence (BI) data in interactive reports, we want you to be a part of Gard’s datawarehouse team. Gard is building a new data platform in the cloud and we are looking for an exceptional Data Analyst to help us develop advanced data models and create business intelligence reports. Tasks and responsibilities
• Build advanced data-models in Power BI
• Visualize data and build reports in Power BI
• Manage datasets, workspaces and apps
• Provide data analysis advice for the organization
• Work closely with our Data- and DevOps Engineers, datawarehouse, infrastructure and analytic teams
• A degree in Computer Science, Maths, Statistics or related field or certifications as a Data Analyst. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• More than 2-years experience working with large volumes of data
• Hands on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or other relevant BI tools
• A talent for coding, SQL, Python (or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Purview, Azure Synapse Analytics or Snowflake
• Experience with GitHub, branching and repositories.
• Familiar working with DevOps processes such as CI/CD, scrum and kanban
• A pragmatic mindset, collaborative, analytical and business-oriented
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• A reputation for being a good team player
• A keen eye for detail and a burning desire to automate and standardize processes
• Ability to balance long vs. short perspectives well
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both colleagues and customers
• Excellent written and spoken English
