Microsoft Application Expert -Governance

Information Technology at Yara has embarked on a transformation journey. IT will enable Yara’s growth and digital ambitions and aim to develop a faster and nimbler IT.

We are now looking for the right candidate to help us make this happen, by hiring a Microsoft Power Platform Application and Governance Expert. You will take part in making the Power Platform THE low-code platform in Yara, supporting hundreds of citizen developers in making business apps for solving real business problems.

Is this candidate you? If so, then you will work closely with the DevOps team, legal, cyber security, and business. You will actively drive business productivity and risk reducing initiatives by providing expertise and establishing and maintaining governance of the platform. The main objective being to enable our growing community of citizen developers to make stable and secure apps.

The two main office hubs related to the Business Applications teams are in Oslo and Brussels. This position will be based in Oslo and report to Senior Manager of Business Applications.

•   Establish and support operations and governance of the Power Platform

•   Create and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines

•   Management of applications, environments, capacity and licenses 

•   Provide subject matter expertise to teams, projects, and citizen developers

•   Stay current on relevant new technology within the Microsoft ecosystem

•   Be an agile team member (Demo Sessions & Sharing success stories, grooming and planning of backlog & contribute to agile ceremonies)

•   M.Sc. or bachelor’s degree within computer science or similar

•   Experience with change management & Agile framework, certifications are preferred

•   Minimum 3 years’ experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Microsoft Power Platform. 

•   Experience with Azure DevOps, SharePoint Online and Dynamics are big pluses

•   Flexible to travel- approx. 10 days a year

•   Fluency in English- written & verbal
