Contracts Advisor - Construction.
We are looking for candidates who want to build the first battery cell factory in Norway. We have been working on this project for many months and the spade goes into the ground this summer. The person who takes on this role will be managing the construction contracts for the building of Norway’s first Giga-factory.

We will build at least 4 battery cell factories of increasing size in Mo i Rana as a significant contribution to the transition to a green economy. Without batteries there can be no real change in the global energy system, the key to limiting temperature increases. These factories are a significant contribution to a more sustainable future.

We are looking for a highly qualified Construction Contracts Advisor to support the construction team in building of Norway’s first Giga-Factory

JOB DESCRIPTION
A Projects Contracts Engineer is required to develop strategies, tender, negotiate, award and manage construction contracts to deliver Plant 1 Project. This role shall tender and manage contracts based on the NS Contract Model. Responsible for the Delivery of large Construction packages in line with the project requirements. Management of the procurement process, compliance with contractual terms and provide commercial management of Major Capital Projects contracts.

The Contracts Advisor is reporting to Head of Contracts and Procurement.

Main tasks include:

• Construction Contract Strategy Papers
• Pre-qualification questionnaires and subsequent reports
• ITT Packages
• Evaluation of Tenders
• Recommendation to Award of Contracts
• Contract/ Performance Management in execution phase
• Commercial / Contractual support

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

• Minimum of 5 years working with construction contracts in Norway, in a Contract Advisor/ Contact Manager role
• Specific experience with contracting based on NS Models
• Fluent in Norwegian and competent in Engish
