We are looking for an experienced Project Lead at Ågotnes

Aker Solutions Project Management department at Ågotnes is now looking for a Project Lead for a temporary position.

Due to the current pandemic restrictions, only candidates that are already located in Norway can be considered for this assignment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present quotations to clients in accordance with procedures and guidelines within existing frame agreements, securing precise understanding of customer need and expectations
• Assist Service Manager (SM) in clarifications and negotiations with customers
• Secure prices and contribution margins in accordance with strategy and budget
• Ensure financial control in project through follow-up analysis of cost, revenue, and contribution margin
• Provide SM with necessary input for optimal utilization of resources
• Identify potential trends and subsequently propose business strategies
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring of project execution progress related to schedule, cost/budget and job hours
• Responsible for maintenance of correct cost & planning board in SAP
• Responsible for closing project plans, activities and forecasts according to project requirements, budget and internal routines. 

Skills and Levels Description:

• Higher education, Master or Bachelor degree within economics and/or engineering
• Strong commercial awareness and proven experience with commercial issues, contracts and customers
• Good understanding of relevant subsea products and services
• Financial and planning understanding
• Familiar with project execution and engineering processes
• Structured mind-set with good communication, cooperation and presentation skills
• Extended and relevant work experience may compensate for lack of formal competence
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferably within energy industry
• Language Skills: Written and Oral Norwegian and English
• Software Skills: SAP, Microsoft office
