Through our software we help thousands of managers of small and medium sized companies save time and gain more structure and control on personnel and administrative tasks. As a Senior developer you will be writing high quality code and work both individually and in teams. We are working by agile principles, thus communication and collaboration is part of the working day. You will work closely with the development team, usability expertise, software testers, product owner and more.

Being an in-house Senior developer you will focus on one continuously expanding product, and develop the product from an early stage with minimal legacy code. You will have a significant impact and influence on the technological direction and implementation.

We are mainly running on a Microsoft stack with MS SQL Azure database .NET Core in Azure cloud and Vue.js on the front-end. The main tools we are using are Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, Jira, Confluence and Slack.

Skills and experience we find relevant

• C# .NET – you need to have in-depth knowledge and experience with creating web applications based on the .NET framework / .NET Core.
• Writing efficient SQL statements.
• HTML, Json and Javascript – basic skills as a minimum.
• API development and usage, hereunder integration with and connection to external services.
• Good English language skills.

Also – fantastic if you have knowledge of one or more of these areas

• Azure cloud based applications.
• Front-end framework and libraries like Vue.js and React.
• Agile methods like Kanban and Scrum.
• Application security.
• Database knowledge in general.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Planning, development and implementation of our core product and modules. Most of your time will be spent hands-on with development.
• Discuss the software architecture and technical choices.
• Be active in continuously improving areas related to product development, like work processes, refactoring, automation and so forth.
• Actively participate in discussions around how the application should work, both from a technical and user perspective.
• Keep updated on new technologies, trends, and security threats.

The position

You will be a part of the product development team, and work directly with most roles in the company. The position reports to the CTO.

The company language is English – all documentation is in English.
