As our Team Coordinator Credit Risk Leasing, you will coordinate the work in the leasing risk and collections team and participate hands-on in the underwriting and analysis of our Leasing customers in addition to overseeing the collection work for these customers. We receive most of our leasing business through partners and we need to provide efficient underwriting of the financing proposals generated through these partners. We utilize autoscoring and approval for smaller cases, but larger and more complex cases are underwritten manually. We monitor performance of these cases and customers on an ongoing basis. The leasing collections employees are part of the leasing risk team and this enables us to include learnings from the collections area into the underwriting process. If you are experienced within credit underwriting and analysis - in particular within B2B / leasing, then this might be the right job for you. You will be a member of Ikano Bank Norway´s B2B Credit Risk team in Asker. The team consists of 6 people in total - 3 who work with credit risk/underwriting and 3 who work with collections and asset recovery/re-sale. The Team Coordinator Credit Risk Leasing reports in to Head of Risk Norway and has the following responsibilities: 
  • Handle personnel related matters in the team and ensure that the team performs and delivers in line with agreed targets and KPI´s
  • Participate in objective assessment and underwriting of customer creditworthiness and analysis of financial information as part of the credit process.
  • Advise internal Sales and Operations departments on matters related to corporate credit risk and changes to policies.
  • Regular communication and contact with our customers and partners, and from time to time participate in customer/partner meetings.
  • Prepare and present credit applications for decision by local and central credit committees.
  • Analyze, report and give recommendations on the development of the leasing portfolio.
  • Implement guidelines, maintaining local instructions and secure that local processes are in line with the bank´s Global policies and guidelines.
  • Prepare reporting to secure monitoring of the credit assessment and a regular monitoring of B2B exposures.
  • Responsible for knowledge sharing within the pan-Nordic credit team and in the Norwegian branch.
  • Pick up early warning signals and opportunities in the economic environment, key customers and relevant industries.
  • Ad hoc tasks and participation in local projects.

  • In depth experience from credit related work either in a bank or a leasing company.
  • Experience from credit handling & assessment of corporate customers
  • Preferably experience with people management
  • An academic degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams, and in line with our corporate values.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English - our corporate language is English.
  • A process oriented personality with an eye for detail and efficiency
