QA Engineer

Our company is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for candidates to help scale our engineering team.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for motivated, driven and quality focused QA engineers. You should have a learning and sharing mindset. That is, wanting to learn new things and being open and sharing your knowledge. You should enjoy collaborating across the organization. We are fast moving, and as the company develops we implement our lessons learned and adapt to change. You should be proactive, take ownership and have the grit to follow through. 

We believe in finding people with the right qualities and skills rather than finding a person with the right degree. A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject is always good but it’s not a prerequisite.

Ideally you should have 

• At least 2 years of experience in testing Web applications
• Good knowledge of various testing methods
• Experience in writing, executing and maintaining test cases in ALM, Jira, Zephyr or similar Test Management tools 
• Experience with Github or a similar version control system
• Experience with Cypress or a similar Javascript automation tool
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, FitNesse, or any similar framework
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, Katalon Studio or similar tools

Bonus Points for

• ISTQB or equivalent is desirable, but not required
• Experience with Security testing
• Experience with Performance testing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Visual Testing

Responsibilities

You’ll be an integral part of the engineering team. This means both working with greenfield feature development, finding bugs and focusing on continuous quality improvement. There’s also the possibility of helping on performance or security testing if you want.

You will be working to ensure that our team can keep a high iteration speed while maintaining a quality product. We believe this is done by building quality into our products, ensuring that our delivery pipeline is solid, and that our situational awareness is top notch.
