You will be a part of Business Finance
Business Finance in Ramboll consists of +300 employees. Hereof 50 employees in Denmark and 30 employees in Norway. Our foremost responsibility is to ensure that our business receives excellent assistance in all aspects of controlling (business & project) and project administration.
Your workplace can be either in Denmark or Norway. Preferable in the Danish offices in Copenhagen, Esbjerg or Oslo in Norway. Since we have a strong Nordic presence, it is also a possibility, for the right candidate, to work from other major cities in Denmark or Norway.
Your key tasks and responsibilities
You will be responsible for monitoring, controlling and reporting on current and forecast expenditures against both man hour budgets, expenses and subcontractors in EPC projects. You will work closely with the Project Control Manager for day-to-day cost control activities and be responsible for review and monitor the project performance for Ramboll.
The position requires a systematic approach to problem solving in the areas of cost analysis, cost forecasting, controls, reporting and changes in the work using cost procedures and practices. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Responsible of the cost control process of EPCM & EPC projects
Assist in preparing the project budget, active participation in baseline updates and revisions
Monitor, report and perform cost variance analysis, trending and forecasting identifying causes of over and or under runs to the approved budget and incorporate corrective actions into the monthly cost forecasts
Responsible for providing input as necessary to the regular cost reporting both internal and towards the client to ensure the defined cost objectives are achieved through project completion, start-up, and closeout
Provides support with preparation of various PLT presentations
Maintain the project cash flow forecasts
Responsible for Invoicing processes and follow up
Provides cost expertise to project team
Maintain compliance with management of change process and ensures maintenance of overall cost within the project controls team
Follow up and assist with cost calculation of variation orders and variation order requests

Advanced skills in the cost control process of multi-discipline EPCM and EPC projects
+10 years of experience with project cost control
Good written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills, ability to work with others.
Strong analytical, literacy and numerical skills
Proficient in the use of ERP systems, preferably Deltek Maconomy
Advanced knowledge in the use of Excel and used to work with power BI
Good understanding of planning & scheduling
