Field Engineering is NOV Aftermarket's engineering department and delivers leading and innovative upgrades to a wide range of NOV drilling equipment from far back in time until today. We need to strengthen our team and are looking for engineers with experience in drilling control systems with main focus on PLC programming.

Tasks:

·       Perform Software upgrades on NOV drilling equipment, mainly Siemens PLC

·       Prepare documentation such as test procedures, change descriptions, installation descriptions and other technical documentation

·       Technical support to our sales department in the preparation of tender documents.

·       Prepare upgrades for installation and assist in mobilizing service personnel to perform field installation.

Qualifications and characteristics:

We want to connect with positive and committed employees with good abilities to work both independently and with others in a dynamic work environment. We are primarily looking for technicians, bachelor or master’s degree engineers who have a large work capacity, are structured and creative. Experience with NOV drilling control systems and equipment will be emphasized.

Minimum requirements:

·       Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with PLC based control systems as well as good technical and practical understanding.

·       Good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian and English.
