R&D Chemist Temperature resistance coatings - Temporary position

Duties and responsibilities

• Carry out development and maintenance tasks through planning, formulating, testing and evaluating of recipes and raw materials to ensure that projects are effectuated within planned time and cost frames, and in accordance with Jotun’s business strategy.
• Cooperate in a team with another Senior chemist as well as other interdisciplinary departments in Jotun for validation of a patented paint solution. This includes testing of the product, reporting results and participate actively in the product development process.
• Report results from development and maintenance work both orally and written through R&D to ensure that the correct decisions, based on current experience, are made. 
• Search for, make use of and communicate knowledge to others through literature, practical experience, learning from others as well as attending courses in order to be one step ahead of development. 

Qualifications

Education and experience in Research and Development:

• BSc in Chemistry, with 4-6 years of relevant experience or;
• MSc in Chemistry.

Good general understanding of IT systems.
Excellent English language skills - both written and spoken.
