Group Controller

 Main tasks 

• overall accountable for developing group accounting consolidation processes
• hands-on key contributions and responsibilities for monthly and quarterly group financial consolidation, in addition to group quarterly and annual statutory financial reporting
• ensure group compliance on relevant IFRS standards as well as leading training and implementation of new standards across the group
• be a key proponent and driver for improving and streamlining financial reporting processes
  
• facilitate accounting onboarding processes for newly acquired entities into the group
• actively assist in the search for and implementation of a new group-wide financial consolidation system, if required
  
• be the key point of contact towards the company’s external auditor and contribute to internal auditing processes

Qualifications

• university degree in accounting (e.g. MRR) or finance
• at least five years of relevant experience from auditing or accounting or experience from a similar role in a publicly listed company. Holding a state authorized public accountant degree is considered an advantage
• excellent accounting competence, incldyuing in-depth command of IFRS
  
• expert knowledge and hands-on experience from well-known financial consolidation solutions adequate for multi-national companies
  
• international work and/or educational experience is considered a strong advantage
  
• excellent verbal and written communicator in English as well as in Norwegian
  
• strong proficiency in Excel and other relevant tools
