Great opportunity as R&D Engineer at Polynt Composites Norway

We are now looking for an Engineer to our R&D lab in Fredrikstad

The position will require planning, preparing and executing composite material mechanical testing and related activities in the laboratory in close cooperation with the Polynt Norway R&D team.

The tasks will include:

• Planning, preparing and executing testing and related activities on resins and composites, critical evaluation and reporting of the results
• Test method management & follow up of the related international standard
• Introducing/ developing new test methods when necessary
• Main tasks among others will be:
  • Responsibility of mechanical testing lab & instruments
  • Responsibility of Fredrikstad R&D instrument calibrations
  • Cooperation with internal stakeholders (R&D teams)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience of composites or plastics mechanical testing, test methods and standards
• Basic knowledge/ understanding of composites and material properties
• Education: BSc
• Fluent in English language, Norwegian language skills is an advantage
• Practical and pragmatic approach to work and new challenges
• Good communication skills and team player
• Willing to relocate to Norway (Fredrikstad area)
