The recruitment of CFO should be seen in the context of a company in growth, change and development. The position is part of the BRAV’s management team, with an overall responsibility for the financial management. You will report directly to the CEO.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
As Brav’s CFO you will be an important business partner to the CEO and the rest of the executive management team. In close collaboration with the executive management team, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and for securing sustainable business growth and profitability. Furthermore, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and running of all the finance activities in the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and contract negotiations. You will lead a competent team of 5 employees, that run our daily finance and controlling operations. The CFO both prepares and participate in Board of Directors meetings.

COMPETENCY PROFILE
We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and business-oriented CFO, that with credibility can take lead on the strategic initiatives and development of BRAV as a company. Relevant candidates have a university degree with excellent academic records, preferably within finance/economy or strategy.

You have outstanding records of managerial or professional achievements. Preferred experience can come from a wide range of industries, but experience from retail/ customer- oriented businesses and consulting services will be particularly interesting. Experience from senior management positions and international oriented roles is a prerequisite. As a key person in the organization, we believe that you have led strategy operations, business development- and improvement processes. With these experiences, you can bring “best practice” models into our organization.

As CFO you will be involved in most business processes in the organization. A well-developed business acumen, experience in modeling business cases and proven negotiation skills will be important.

It is expected that the right candidate will be a positive contributor and a challenger in an active and transition-oriented environment.

The ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing, in English and Norwegian, is a necessity.
