IT Security Manager

FREYR plans to develop up to 43 GWh of battery cell production capacity by 2025 to position the company as one of Europe’s largest battery cell suppliers. The facilities will be located in the Mo i Rana industrial complex in Northern Norway, leveraging Norway’s highly skilled workforce and abundant, low-cost renewable energy sources from hydro and wind in a crisp, clear and energized environment. Corporate headquarters are located in the Oslo area.

FREYR will supply safe, high energy density and cost competitive clean battery cells to the rapidly growing global markets for electric vehicles, energy storage, and marine applications.

IT Security Manager
FREYR is aiming high. Initial work will be to establish an IT Security framework. The role is key establishing processes and methods to protect all company assets.
Freyr IT are heading for the highest possible IT security level in the market, and this is a rare opportunity for the right candidate to establish and deliver world class secure IT.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Define and maintain the IT security strategy and standards
Contribute to the development of the organisation’s security policy
Evaluate risks, threats and consequences
Establish and manage prevention, detection, correction and remediation plans
Inform and raise awareness among general management and across all IT users and professionals
Conduct information security operations

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Master’s degree in a technical field. Long highly relevant work experience can compensate for the degree level
• Min. 5 years of experience from IT security work
• Documented skills in ISO 27.00x
• CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professionals)
• Experience in risk management and security operations
• Experience in issues related to privacy, laws, and regulations
• Fluent in English and Norwegian
