The NutraQ Group is on the journey towards building the best subscription-based business platform in Europe. A vital part to reach our ambitions are the business intelligence and analytical capabilities in the Group. We are therefore looking for a Head of BI with strong technical and analytical skills and a commercial mindset to support the expansion and development of the Business Intelligence team and the Group.

Key responsibilities:

Manage a team of BI developers and data analysts
Develop a long-term data architecture and business intelligence vision
Serve as an advisor to the organization in terms of reporting and analysis possibilities (e.g. predictive modelling) and new ways of visualizing data
Contribute to training, maintenance and continuous improvement of existing reports and analysis delivered to other departments
Further drive report automation and self-service agenda
Ensure maintenance of data warehouse (MS SQL Server and SSAS Tabular)
Automation and ETL (SSIS, PHP, C#, API)
Analytics and reporting (Excel, R, Python, Power BI)

You will be heading a passionate BI team that currently consists of 3 BI developers and 1 data analyst. The BI team helps the rest of the organization to maximize customer insight and assists in building automated reports that allow for further analysis of data by slicing and building individual reports in Power BI.

You will also spend time on understanding business requirements with regard to customer insight and help the entire NutraQ team to set good demand specifications and understand the Business Intelligence possibilities.

Qualifications:

Higher university degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or equivalent. Relevant work experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
Documented team management experience within business intelligence/ data analytics, either from consultancy or in-house corporate role
Extensive documented BI solution architecture experience with:
- SQL coding
- Microsoft’s BI Stack (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS)
- PowerBI/DAX
- Excel/PowerPivot/Pivotering
SalesForce and/ or Python experience is a plus
Fluency in Norwegian and English, both orally and written. NutraQ’s corporate language is English.
