We are currently looking for a Machinery Engineer to our office in Stavanger, Norway. As a Machinery Engineer you will work in the Operations Technical Department and provide specialist expertise within the area of machinery system acting with the role as Vår Energi discipline and/or system technical responsible.

Tasks and responsibilities

Responsible to ensure the technical integrity of machinery systems during each assets life cycle

Responsible for following Vår Energi requirements and work processes related to the integrity of machinery systems

Fill assigned roles (discipline/lead discipline engineer) within Asset Integrity Management System

Manage risk, non-conformances and deviations within area of responsibility

Surveillance and optimization of machinery system ensuring safe operation, high reliability and effective maintenance plans

Lead/participate in troubleshooting/RCFA for machinery systems

Provide technical support for operations, maintenance, and projects within area of responsibility

Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and best practices

Initiate and drive changes to improve safety, reliability and efficiency

Demonstrate company values in daily work (VIVIL)
Education and experience:
- Bachelor or master degree within machinery engineering
- 5+ years of experience
About you:
- Have in depth knowledge of Norwegian regulations and standards within the area
- Excellent Norwegian and English language (oral and written)
- Strong team player with proactive approach to the decision making process
- Problem solver
- Good communication and cooperation skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing work priorities
