Are you our new IT project manager for business applications?

As our new colleague in Elkem IT, you will be part of the IT environment in our head office and work internationally with all divisions and business areas in Elkem. You will be responsible for IT application projects, as well as managing selected IT applications in line with Elkem IT strategy. Most important areas of responsibility:

• Plan, manage and ensure governance of selected IT applications
• Project management for selected IT Application projects
• Participate in relevant improvement projects as business consultant
• Secure good agreements with Software- and consultant vendors
• Follow up and manage selected external suppliers
• Ensure solutions and systems are compliant to Elkem IT security policies

Qualifications required for the position:

• Preferably Master's degree within Business Administration, Information Systems or other relevant higher education
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience from management, consulting, and/or project management of administrative IT Applications
• Preferably experience within IT implementation projects in an international environment with multiple cultures and languages
• Understanding of business industry/operational processes and business support functions, and system interfaces between processes
• Fluent in English

The position reports to Application Manager in Elkem IT and is located in our head office in Oslo. You will have the opportunity to travel and visit our units globally.
