Test Engineer

We are seeking a curious, technology-driven and problem-solving person to join our operation unit organization at Stord, Norway. Your primary focus will be on testing our frequency converters in our factory in addition to other testing facilities if needed.

Your responsibilities

• Delivery project frequency converter testing:
  • Preparation, checking and planning of test setup
  • Test program creation incl. detail planning of tests. In cooperation with production manager, project management and responsible project engineers
  • Execution of planned tests; both hardware and software tests
  • Test report creation and test result acceptance
  • Development of testing process (standardize test procedure, templates, documentation)
• Test equipment management:
  • Manage test equipment and factory automation. related to our facilities
• Component testing
  • Execute various component verification initiated by R&D and Product Management

We appreciate

• Higher educational degree in electrical or other applicable engineering field
• Work experience in a similar position
• Strong technical know-how of frequency converters
• Experience with PLCs – hardware and software
• Good communication skills, both Norwegian and English
• Teamwork experience
• Effective time-management skills and self-motivation
